my mom and i are really close and are thinking about getting matching tattoos in june. we were thinking of a dove. oh ya and im a guy. is that weird?

i don't think that it's weird but instead of getting matchy-matchy tats why don't you get tats that have something i common? like a sun and a moon? that might not seem as odd to other people. or if you do get "matching tats how about something like this, when my gram died my mom, sis and i all got shamrocks (gram was irish). they're fairly small and we all got different styles. they're still enough alike to have a connection but not the same.

It's a little odd, but certainly there is nothing wrong with being this close to your mother. Heck, if your a teen than I wish that most teenagers loved and respected their parents this much! I say you go for it! (Despite the fact that I would never get a tattoo or piercing 0.0)

Yes, it's weird. Don't do it. Someday you might want to get married, and the matching tattoo thing will creep out most girls enough to scare them off. She's your mother, so isn't carrying some of her DNA enough?
