I haven't worn earing since forever but my holes haven't closed, so i decided to put them to use and start gauging them. Right now I'm wearing normal posts but I don't know what size they are and I'm just using them to start off. Where do I start and what do i use? How do I put the larger gauges in? Should i use those things that make the holes bigger themselves (i think they're called a taper or something)?

Hello, this is a curiousity of mine because I have heard it said before and I wanted to get it clarified. I got my first tattoo about 8 months ago and the black on the ink has already patched and the tattoo just doesnt look great. A few times I meant to get it touched up but it never worked out time wise for me or the artist. I know most tattoo artists have a guarantee on their tattoos but if he messed it up once why would I want him to make it worse. I do not want to cover it up because it is symbollic. I was tempted to ask my new tattoo artist of he could work on it but I heard that is a major "no no" in the tattoo community and artists do not like to mess with each others work. Some get mad just for you asking them. I sort of know the guy but I still don't feel right asking. What is the reason that tattoo artists do not like to go other somebodys "so so" work?

I always hear that you shouldn't pick your zits b/c it can leave scars and makes your skin worse, but sometimes I just can't resist to pop those that have white heads already formed. This leads me to pick at other acne on my face. I do use Clean&Clear products but still manage to find gunk in my pores.

ok..when i was younger i was very tomboish and was rough which mad marks all over my legs this was like 5-10 yrs ago..i want to them to go away now..ive been using coco butter cause i heard it works but no luck any suggestions..my legs look horrible

I'm really interested in what I can do for my hands. I'm in my late 20's and I used to crack my knuckles when I was in my early teens. So with that and house cleaning, my hands aren't as pretty. :o) What can I do to keep the skin looking young and healthy.

A few weeks ago I got this really annoying pimple right in the smack dead middle of my forehead, so I decided to pop it. After it scabbed up, I picked away at the scab because it was really embarrassing to have.

Now left in its place is a small tiny discolored indent. Its probably hardly noticable to anyone else, but my skin color is inbetween brown and olive and little imperfections like this seem to stand out more then they should.

Its probably been about 3 weeks since I picked at the scab.

Will this go away and what can I use to help it?

me and some freinds are going to go out and get matching tattoos....the only problem is that one of the girls has stretch marks on her sides from having her baby....we all want to get 3 stars....on the outside will be two stars that are about 3 inches long and the big star in the middle are going to be about 5 inches..we were wondering if she will be able to still get the tattoo even though she has stretchmarks....will the tattoo cover them or will you still be able to see them....and also...we want to get the tattoos in black..but is there a diffrent color or a design we can put in the stars to hide her stretch marks better?

Why does everyone assume that once you get a visable tattoo you will never get hired. I have a great government job and I have tattoos and my hubby can go anywhere and get a job. (Trust me he's done it) And he has a visable tattoo on his wrist. You can get great jobs with tattoos or not. So why do people without tattoo assume you can't? How do you people think we get money and afford our tattoos?

i have my nipples pierced and last night i decided to take my rings out over night to let them soak.... its the first time i have left them out for so long and now im having trouble getting them to go back in... it really hurts and it feels like in the centre of my nipple its closing up already.... can this happen so soon? can i keep trying to painfully push the rings back through?

I've been waxing my legs for a long time now and I've noticed that I've got a lot of little bumps on my legs. When I poke at it, I see a thin, curly hair that comes out - I'm pretty sure this means I've got tons of ingrown hairs. What do I do to get rid of them and prevent them from coming back again? It's a pain to be waxing only "half" the hair on your legs and leave the rest in there. >:(
