here in NC you cant get a tattoo unless your 18 even with parental consent. im going to VA at the end of the month and was wanting to know if i could get one or no

I lived in Roanoke, VA for 17 years. There were some places such as downtown that would tattoo minors if there was a parent PRESENT throughout the tattoo, and if written consent was given. However, other tattoo artists would refuse to tattoo them. Make sure you know what you want if you get one. Also, call ahead of time and tell them your predicament so you don't run around looking for someone who will tattoo you.

Legally the virginia law is that you may tattoo a person 17 yrs of age with parental consent. HOWEVER. you will BOTH need a state issued photo ID (school IDs etc do not count) like a drivers license with second names and addresses that match. if you dont have matching addresses then your parent/guardian will need to bring custody papers with them. any artist that doesnt get copies or check your IDs can lose their license.

im not sure on the laws in VA but here in canada you can get them with parents consent at the age of 16 you can look it up on the net if you want though

Parental consent when you are 18 but I think it changed to nothing until you are 18

i think of no, with the aid of fact it somewhat is Virginia regardless of each and everything the main extreme state of all and that i do no longer think of your mom and dad will say sure and with each and all of the crime that been going on i think of this is a no no.

you have to be 18 also inless you have a adult with you
