me and some freinds are going to go out and get matching tattoos....the only problem is that one of the girls has stretch marks on her sides from having her baby....we all want to get 3 stars....on the outside will be two stars that are about 3 inches long and the big star in the middle are going to be about 5 inches..we were wondering if she will be able to still get the tattoo even though she has stretchmarks....will the tattoo cover them or will you still be able to see them....and also...we want to get the tattoos in black..but is there a diffrent color or a design we can put in the stars to hide her stretch marks better?

you can get a tattoo over stretch marks but depending on how bad they are you may still be able to see the stretch mark under the tattoo... kindof like a scar. but as long as she doesn't care it shouldn't be a "problem" the best thing to do would be to ask the tattoo artist.

Ok, does mt_ski even know what a tramp stamp is?!? They go on your back, not your hips...catch a clue and know your terms before you shoot people down!
Just be careful...if you're putting ink in a place where she has stretch marks you guys could all end up with distorted tats should you ever get pregnant (or in her case, pregnant again) so make sure you talk to your artist, ok?
The ink will cover her stretch marks somewhat. As for color? It deoends on her skin tones and what color the marks are...sometimes people get white ones, other times purplish. Again, consult with your artist before doing anything...he/she will be able to advise you on colors, placement, size..the whole spiel!
Good luck!

The texture of the a strech mark is completley different then that of your normal skin. Why dosen't every one get them in a different place. It will look different over her strech mark nomatter what. Its like having a scar you can tattoo over it but you'll be able to tell.

i honestly wouldn't get one over a stretch mark! When the ink goes over the mark itself, it will emphasis the mark even more (make it more noticable)
I suggest you all change the location! Why not the back of your neck?
