I have heard that laser removal on african americans has a greater potential to leave more visible scars from the procedure, but have never seen any evidence of it. The only worry I would have is getting a kiloid scar where the procedure is done. But again, ive been doing it a couple of years now, and have never see a case, only heard. I think that you should consult a dermatologist about this, and get it first hand from them. Or better yet, talk to the people who actually do the procedure, and get their thoughts. I'm sure with the prospect of getting your money, they will tell you all that you need to know about dark skin, and tattoo removal.

For doing a tattoo you must choose an expert, but that's even more important for removing a tattoo.
Still I fear it's not possible without leaving some traces.
