if you 'can' let it go for a little bit to give you're skin a bit of a chance to 'adjust' also in the shower exfoliate exfoliate! if you put tend skin on that's supposed to help as well but i find using a luffa in the shower helps a lot!

How often you shave does not make hairs thicker. They just seem thicker because you chop a hair off in the middle, so that part is thicker than the pointed end that a hair has if you let it grow in naturally. Anyway, you need to exfoliate & moisturize. I have really sensitive skin too, so I shave in the bathtub, not the shower, and pour 1/4 cup of baking soda in the bathwater. Then use a loofah and some soap with salicylic acid...try Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash. Ingrowns are very similar to pimples in that it is a pore that gets clogged, so you can treat them like one. Then after you shave, put on lotion. This should help.

Like others you should exfoliate it will help remove the dead skin cells. Get a pair of pointed tweezers they are made for removing ingrown hairs. Also tell your esthician that this is happening, they might be able to do something to help. If you wax yourself, make sure you are waxing the right way. Hope this helps

Exfoliate everyday, especially if you wax. There are loads of exfoliatants on the market, scrubs for the bath or gloves that you can use wet or dry. Also moisturise afterwards with a light moisturiser. This will get rid of excess skin that can stop hair pushing up and cause them to become ingrown. Hope this helps.

Oh god!!! I had the same problem but now i'm FREE!!!
& you know how? Well, it's a bit expensive, but that's the only option you have. And, that's "HAIR LASER", which is permanently.
Let me tell ya a bit of it ...
I had done my first treatment on december 19, & i need like five more treatments, after that the hair won't grow back, but it really depends on that skin & hair you have, like my doctor told me that i might have 4 treatments coz i have a good skin. So once in a month you must go and done your treatment.
I will also tell you the prices, but still i will say it depends on the area, if the area is large, they will cost you alot, if the area is not that large they won't cost you that much. Like i have done my underarms and the bikini area, & i have to pay like $300 plus discount per treatment. I was really happy when the doctor told me that i might have 4 treatments, coz i don't wanna pay $300 each time i visit. Lolzzzzz ...
Hope, it helps you, but i'm telling ya, i can even feel it with my first treatment, the hair is not growing back ...
