I got my Tattoo on December 23rd and have been trying hard to use the Tattoo goo at least twice per day. I dont do much in the shower because it is on my back and hard to get too. I have noticed on day 5 that my skin is flaking and is itchy. When I put the goo on I saw little black flakes. Is this normal or have I f%$%D up my tattoo? I don't want to think I didnt put enough goo on it and it got dried out

Any with personal experience ot tattoo artist please

My skin is really bad sometimes I have a lot of pimples. Sometimes also it becomes too oily! I am looking for a moisturizer, preferably gel type or just water-based, that normally wouldn't make my skin more oily or greasy and would cause more pimples!!! I am having difficulty choosing what kind since there are soooo many brands. Sunscreen or SPF is also a pre-requisite. I NEED YOUR EXPERT OPINION.

I just got my first tat yesterday, and I have heard different suggestions from everyone. My tattooist gave me a sheet of instructions for things such as when to take the bandage off (1-3 hours... I left mine on for about 2. I've heard different tattooists give different instructions) and suggested lubriderm and a few others as far as lotion goes. I've gotten different product suggestions from everybody. Right now I've been using Antibacterial Softsoap to wash it several times a day and blotting it dry with a paper towel and using Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E to keep it moisturized. I have been washing it VERY lightly with my fingers out of caution, and there is still a little blood on one of my fills, but I'm not sure if that's normal? Is it OK to rub a little harder with my fingers to get that off? I've had this tat for less than 24 hours, but I really really love how it came out. I want to make sure it's gonna stay that way!

I'm getting my pericing today, and i'm scared to death! I have been through hell with pain before (having the nerve endings in one hand killed by a needle, having my foot sliced open in the dr. office with no numbing) and i can deal pretty well, but i'm still scared about how long the piercing will take and how bad it will hurt!
