There are so many diets out there on the market. I wouldn't go the fast root because you body needs to adjust to the diet. If you try to rush yourself you can do more harm then good.

I wouldn't recommend that. If you want to lose it too fast and you if don't maintain your eatting habits as regularly then you can gain it back fast just as you have tried to lose it fast.

Use common sense when going on a weight loss program and also consult with your family doctor because that way you can get weighed in and your doctor may have some recommendations or you can ask them what .

I would do a lot of reading and research on the web on diets and make the comparisions to these diets and find one that suits your needs because any one can say this is the best diet around.

The best diet is when you take the time to write down by keeping a food journal. That way you know what are eatting and also make notes of how you are feeling when you eat something.

I think that 1,500-1,800 calories plus exercise should be enough. I wouldn't go as low as 1,000 calories because that is too low and it's almost like you are starving yourself and you can wind up being way too hungry.

Look on line and look for some really good diet software and that may help you when you are on your computer. Here's a whole list that will help you. Some of these programs you can download as a free trial offer and see which one you may want to buy.

Another good software program I would recommend is MasterCook Deluxe 8.0 that way you can type in some low calorie recipes so that you can do some meal planning. There's other ones out there if you want to shop and compare if this isn't to your liking?

http://www.amazon.com/Value-Software-10358-MasterCook-Deluxe/dp/B0002BJRFQ/sr=1-5/qid=1168018668/ref=sr_1_5/002-1218200-9466420?ie=UTF8&s=software

I also recommend prevention magazine.

http://www.webmd.com/health_and_wellness/diet_and_nutrition.htm
http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/health_advice/facts/loseweight.htm

I would recommend going to the library and borrowing a few books to see what types of diets are out there. Maybe you can find some prevention books in the library or book store.

Last but not least is find a free diet forum where you can discuss your dieting with others who are in the same position as you are. It's good to find a support group so that if you are struggling you know what there are others out there that will back you up with their support.

You can find support groups on msn, yahoo, and just by doing a search on the web by typing in free dieting forums. Here's some to get you started.

There isn't really an easy way to do it but I find like half an hour a day of exercising, talking cardio, situps, pushups etc really does help. When I was doing that five times a week, I really could see the difference. Unfortunately I've been a little slack of late because haven't been well but intending to get back into it again starting today. I'd recommend jogging (treadmill or take it outside) with mp3 player to keep you occupied/motivated and then finishing off with situps/pushups.

Fitball is awesome too, inexpensive and can do in comfort of own home (combined with cardio), http://www.jumpusa.com/swissexercises2.html

If you have a pool or access to one, there is always aqua aerobics. There are classes for it or you can create your own workouts. Throw some music on and do some basic exercises to get your cardio up, try punching below the water with resistance then once you have the hang of it, pick up the pace, also kicks and other martial arts moves you can do if you want to check them out. I used the movements I learnt at karate class though if you want a crash course, should go and do a boxercise/body combat class, they will give you a few ideas, plus its fun to do.

Anyhow, basically it comes down to eating healthy, means ditching your fried/creamy foods and exercising to burn calories. If you exercise in the morning, you are actually kickstarting metabolism to burn fat throughout the day. Water water water, also a must, aim to drink at least two 600 ml bottles of water a day.

I have been trying to lose weight too and the best way that I have found to lose weight quickly is the low-carb diet. Basically live off of eggs, meat, cheese, lettuce, and stuff like that. No breads, fruits, potatoes, and such. I lost about five to eight pounds the first week, but thats just because you body isnt used to it. It soon gets regulated and you lose about 3 pounds a week. Also, drink a LOT of water! I try to drink water and thats it. I used to be a pop-a-holic and now since I cut that out completely, I can tell that I've lost weight. But I definately had good results with the low-carb diet. Good luck & I hope this helps you!

Hey, I went on a baby food diet. This consists of having any kinda baby foods four times a day plus 4 litres of water throughout the day. U dont need to exercise but this will help in toning u up. Do it religously and u shud lose around 5-12 pounds a week. Baby food has all the minerals and vitamins our body needs on a daily basis and so the energy our body gets out of junk like carbs and sweets it takes out of the fat so its an extremely safe way to lose lotsa weight fast. Try it 4 jus a week n u'll feel amazing by day 7 u wont wanna stop. U'll hav mo energy dan u eva have had in ur entire life. If u need any help wid dis hit me up sumtime, lolalebeq@yahoo.com Good luck!!

Binge dieting is really bad for you and you're less likely to keep the weight off. If you want to loose weight, you need to eat healthy (eat enough fruits and vegetables everyday, and cut down on sugars and salts. Eat whole grains and smaller portions of meat, and drink lots of water.) Just cutting soda out of your day is a huge help. There is no need to cut whole food groups out of your diet, you just need to eat them in the correct portions. You also need to exercise! Your body stores fat as energy and exercising will help burn it off. It will take a few weeks for your muscles to convert from using sugar energy to fat as an energy source if you are not already a very active individual. If you are inactive, your body will keep storing fat that is never used because your body does not feel it is active enough to tap into its fat reserves instead of glucose. Do not dishearten if you gain a pound or two when you first begin working out, muscle weighs more than fat. Good luck! Don't worry about your weight, being healthy is much more important.

exercise.. do push up, sit ups, crunches, squats, run a mile each day (estimate it if you have to)

eat right.. stay away from pop ans sweets.. lay off the potato chips.. eat lots of meats (they give u energy to exercise.. but don't eat the fat off the meats)

if u have a ps2 or a game cube, go buy Dance Dance Revolution.. this game is so fun.. and it burns off the punds quick.. they even have a workout mode.. have fun.. and just stay active.. enver just sit around and watch tv..

oh yeah and dont eat after 6:30.. this may be hard sometimes.. but stick to it.. it keeps the punds off.. cuz the worse thing you can do is eat before bed.. and although u may not go to bed until 9 or 10 u dont want to eat 3 hours before u go to bed.. so set your own time like if you go to bed at 11.. dont eat after 8..

good luck sweetie..
