Henna paste is cheap, unless you want colour tattoos :- you can get transfer papers that are temporary that you print your design on, just search "print tattoo temporary" in google and lots of sites bring it up where you can purchase it! Hope this helps

Some people do designs with Sharpie markers, it will last a little while.

I have actually seen temporary tattoo software that you can use with your printer. I found it at Office Depot.

sharpie. available in many colours and will mostly come off with water.

out of boredom I sometimes stick myself with pins and draw on my hands and arms-it leaves a welt then a red ring in the shape you make-I have a star on my hand now.I joke around saying I'm a self-cutter who doesnt like too much pain.
