I'm getting my pericing today, and i'm scared to death! I have been through hell with pain before (having the nerve endings in one hand killed by a needle, having my foot sliced open in the dr. office with no numbing) and i can deal pretty well, but i'm still scared about how long the piercing will take and how bad it will hurt!

Does the ring bleed? And how flat does the clamp pinch the skin?

It hurts worse after, during healing! Get sea salt and dial soap and make sure you wash it 2x a day! It hurts only for a second!

Well for me, I jsut had it dne today and im only 14, it didnt hurt, but it was uncomfortable. it pretty much only hurts if you touch it, and the piercing takes about 2-5 miniutes. they need to put a clamp on your navel to stop the blood flow and to numb it a little bit. You can still feel it go through your skin though. Make sure you get it professionally done, and not by one of ur little punky friends or disater will occure. I know from expirience.

I got mine done before and it didn't hurt at all it was just a lil pressure when the needle went thru then a slight prick n ur done. But what I suggest for cleaning is get a round(circular) o-ring. Also for sea salt solutions I would get H2Ocean Tattoo and Piercing after care spray. It is so much easier than soaking. Yes it does bleed but not much at all. N mine didn't bleed at all after the first day. Everything will be fine. Just make sure u don't have parents who don't approve(mine r divorced and my mom took me to get it done when my dad found out he made me take it out.)

It didn't hurt at all when I got mine. Make sure they do your initial piercing with an actual ring and not the bar style belly ring. With the full cirlcle ring, it is easier to take care of after you get the piercing. You can apply the ointment that the piercing artist suggests and spin the ring around to make sure that the medicine gets to the inside of the piercing. I did that and had no problems or irritation whatsoever. My sister was pierced with the bar style belly ring and ended up with all sorts of problems. Once the piercing heals, feel free to wear whatever type of belly ring you want.

It hurt me more after. Just make sure you clean it 2 times a day with an antibacterial soap and turn it. Try to wear lower pants so they will not rub the area as much. But it only hurt when being rubbed for a bout 1 week.

the piercing itself wasn't painful, just a little uncomfortable, the hemostat like tool they use to hold your belly skin cuts off the blood flow to the nerves during the piercing process, it only takes a couple minutes, and about 5 minutes of waiting to make sure you don't get shocky. Make sure to get a high quality belly ring that doesn't contain nickel, it can cause wicked infections, and make sure to practice good wound care for a couple weeks until it heals. Good luck!!

It does not hurt, the only thing that hurts is a clamp and it bleeds. You also cannot sit up straight for 24 hours.

You feel it, but it's nothing to cry or complain about. My 2nd hole piercing hurt more when I got it at age 11. I've had my belly piercing since i was 14, (i'm 20 now) and trust me, you feel it but not as much as any other part of your body. hope this helps.. good luck and enjoy ur new ring! :)

My aunt got hers done and if u want they can ice it to numb it. the ring bleeds a bit but don't worry, it stops before u leave the place. the clamp? it is only like a big clump of skin on your arm getting squeezed for about ten seconds. u will be satisfied.

Dont worry close your eyes take a deep breath and it will be over with before you know it. Its so fast! You dont even feel pain, its like a tiny pinch. It just sucks having to take care of it until it heals. Good luck
