I wanted to get my hood pierced, but the guy wouldnt do it because he said I wasnt clean, which I thought was really rude. I still want to get it done, but I'm embarassed to go anywhere else. Can I just use an earring to do it like people do to their ears, or do I have to use something stronger like a knife or icepick?

I get pimples and ingrown hairs on my breasts, especially underneath. Is there a cream or something I can buy to keep from getting them? They hurt and its embarassing, especially when my dad and my sister make fun of me for it. My friend Sherry told me to use clearasil, but it burns when I put it on my face and I dont want to put it on my boobs. Is there a product made for this purpose?

I went off the pill a few months ago (trying to get pregnant). Since then, I have been breaking out, but only on one side of my chin. It has wreaked havoc on my complexion though. I have tried several over the counter washes and creams, but nothing seems to help. Does anybody have any suggestions for how to get rid of this acne caused by my hormones?? Thanks so much!!
P.S. I have a derm appointment - but it's not until the end of Febraury!!

A coworker is of the opinion that few women shave their pubic area. I told him that he has been out of circulation for much too long and that is it's actually fairly common-hence this question. (Yes, it IS a slow day here in the Quality Lab. lol)

Hoping that we can all be adults here, what is your experience as a woman or with your wife/girlfriend in regards to shaving this area? Also, if you do shave, is it fully so or just partially?

The lady at piercing pagoda pierced my ears too low (my secound hole). Its so low, its BELOW my original first piercing instead of higher than it. Is this bad? Should I take it out and let it heal and do it again? Please help!

From more than a year ago these weird dark spots appeared all over my waist and my neck. I thought it was just some dry skin problem, but I went to the dermatologist and he said I had a problem with fungus. O.o He gave me antibiotics, but that stopped working after a while (and my mom went crazy when she found out that one of the treatment lotions had steroids). My aunt said that they were sweat marks, that appear in places on the body where you sweat a lot. Her explanation made more sense than the fungus one, but they're still there even though she said they will get better in the winter. I still have no idea what these splotches are. Right now I'm using some dry-skin therapy lotion from Earth Science. Does anyone know what these marks are and how to treat them?

i want to get a tattoo for the first time. I have some ideas but I'm not sure exactly what I want yet.

I want it to be sexy/pretty. Any opinions about what I should get/where I should put it?

(also advice about what NOT to do would be great)

I really don't want the tattoo to be cliché, but also, I don't want to get a crappy looking/weird looking one just for the sake of being "different".
