I get pimples and ingrown hairs on my breasts, especially underneath. Is there a cream or something I can buy to keep from getting them? They hurt and its embarassing, especially when my dad and my sister make fun of me for it. My friend Sherry told me to use clearasil, but it burns when I put it on my face and I dont want to put it on my boobs. Is there a product made for this purpose?

I am a dermatologist and if you came into my office I would probably prescribe you a cream called Retin A along with an antibiotic (Keflex) to permenantly kill the area. You will see results instantly!!! IF you do not want to spend hundreds of dollars on these items I would probably tell you to use an acne product that you can get OTC. Like a neutrogena wash and lay it on and dont put a bra or anything covering it on for about an hour. What is probably causing this is sweat or lack of shampooing the area. A lot of people get acne on their back because they cant get to their back and wash it causing oil to build up in the areas and cause a breakout. Try using a cream like I told you. Iff it doesnt work and you are willing to spend a couple hundred dollars or so go to the dermatologist!!!

The best thing is to make natural stuff for it.
If you want natural, at home stuff, you have got to read this book. I had the same problem, for years. It really pissed me off that I should have been more popular, except for the pimples. I am smart and funny, but they just ate away at my self-esteem. I was determined to get rid of them by hook or by crook.

I tried a whole bunch of things like proactive and others but nothing seemed to work. I tried a few different books and e-books and nothing helped. Then, I read an awesome e-book that will teach you all the home remedies that you will need to get rid of acne permanently. At first I thought it was too expensive, but then I realized that I pay this much like every month for pimple medicine and washes, and this was a one time thing. Best decision I ever made! Not only did it help me stop getting pimples, it also helped clear up my old pimple scars, which were really pissing me off!
You can learn about the book at this link

I tried some books from my dermatologist, but they didn't help me, plus I kept on forgetting to return them to the library. The best thing about the e-book is that I downloaded it right away, and i had the copy forever.

Talk to your doctor first. These kinds of ingrowths or painful acne are often a sign of some kind of internal imbalance.
You should also start looking into ways to clean up your gut and liver. Improve your diet by eating more fresh, raw foods; and sweat it out with a little cardio for 15 mins daily.
As for products: Clean the affected area with a little soda bicarbonate mixed with water. You can also use tea tree oil all over your face and chest at night. Also, spread an egg yolk over the affected area, before a shower, and let it dry for 15 minutes. Wash off with tepid water (not hot) and mild soap.
Also: try this mask on your face and chest.
Alternative 1: combine a sachet of plain gelatin with ½ cup of fruit juice over low heat. Let it cool for a few minutes and then apply to face and chest. Allow it to dry for some 20 minutes before peeling it off. (Avoid getting it in your hair or brows. If you do, then just loosen the stuck bits with warm water.)

Mild exfoliation can help with both ingrown hairs and pimples. Try a top rated body scrub like Neutrogena Body Clear Scrub with is formulated with salicylic acid which is known to treat and prevent acne. See this source for why. http://www.beautyqa.com/

Don't be too conscious of your condition though. Beauty is your confidence and your ability to have compassion for others. And no one's going to laugh at that.

There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made face packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html

You can buy an inexpensive exfoliating cleanser and use it there. Try to buy a gentle exfoliator.
