I already have two tattoos, one on my back (butterfly) and one on my foot (tribal flower). Was thinking of having some stars on my hip-what do you think? Are three tats too many?

i heard a rumor that if you have a tattoo, you can't get an MRI done if you ever need one. is this true? supposedly its because there's some metal in the ink?? i've never heard of that before. are there some inks with metal and some without?

my 21st birthday is on monday and i just had a baby boy in july. i've wanted to get tattooed for a long time and i figure now is a good time. i want to get something for him, his name is ethan, but i don't know what to get. i don't want anything cartoonish and childish and i don't really want hand or footprints either. I thought about getting "sit meus vita" ("he is my life" in latin) in really pretty script somewhere. i only have two days to figure it out though!

i read somewhere that if you mix lemon with flour and milk, leave it on for about 15 minutes and wash it off with warm water will lighten your skin. is that true?? or is it just with milk and no flour??

Please help! I am 27, male. I know I need to use mositurizer and sunscreen, but everytime I do I breakout. I've tried all sorts of stuff from cheap stuff to exspensive stuff. I've tried stuff that claims not to clog pores, and I've tried stuff for acne. Though I always break out. Even when I wash my face with any sort of soap, I break out. Same situation, good stuff, cheap stuff. They all make me break out. What can I do to get a clearer complexion. So far that only thing I have been able to do to get a clear complexion is to not put ANY PRODUCT on my face at all, and just rinse my face clean. Then my skin clears up. Just to mention a couple of things that sitting in my med cabinet right now that have made me break out are: VitalCare Vitamin E Oil, ROC Retinol Correxion Eye Cream, Loreal Visible Results Moisturizing Cream, Neutrogena Men Face Lotion

ive already spent thousands of dollars on my skin but nothing seems to work. I've been receiving treatments from an esthetician for almost a year now. Lasers, microdermabrasion, chemical peels. Also been using the products they gave me. I've waited for results but i'm quite not satisfied. there's little or no change on my skin at all. Also, before i received the treatments i had tiny white bumps on my forehead that they were able to treat since they disappeared for a while. Now im worried why these tiny bumps are back when i'm sill getting treatments ( a chemical peel, and series of microdermabrasions). Also my forehead seems scaly and thick. Like there's a layer of skin covering it that needs to be peeled. My face became drier too. What' going on? I'd appreciate links to websites too that might help. thankyou.

I want the tattoo on my wrist, but since I do not speak Arabic, I want someone who does to translate the phrase "Insha'allah" for me. I want it written in traditional arabic, not the English form, and was told the original translation, written from left to right was incorrect, and would need to be flipped around from right to left. I've read on the news that just this year alone, there have been 4-5 cases of models starving themselves to death. The model industry made a statement saying that in no way are they responsible and they do not promote an unhealthy body image for girls everywhere. What's your view on this?

I'm going for my consult tomorrow. Even though my doctor will answer some questions, I wanted some advice/info from people who have actually had it done.

I've heard mixed things about it...
My tattoo is roughly 5 inches in height and 4 inches wide, across my lower back. It is all black. Some of it has already faded after having a few tatgoneink sessions and a few at-home chemical peels. I'm wanting laser surgery to hopefully remove the rest of it quickly.

My questions are:
1) Does it hurt badly?
2) If so, was this with or without numbing creams/injections?
3) And are numbing creams worth investing in or is the pain all the same?
4) My skin is EXTREMELY pale. I've never tanned, it is transparent white... are my chances of not scarring/discoloration better?
5) How long did it take for anyone with an all black tattoo to be removed?

ok this is my theory on tanning.
since the sun is mostly heat.
do u really need the sun light?
or can u just stay by ur heater to get tan?
is the uv rays what amps up ur melanin?
or is it the heat?

Believe it or not, some scientists say that certain marks on the skin of the Iceman, a mummified human body dating from about 3300 B.C., are tattoos.


So if this is true how can tattoos be a "fad"!
