I prefer images over text of any sort but both are okay when done tastefully, well and artisitcally. I really dislike seeing names on people, and there are few exceptions to that. And I wouldn't want to see a bible sized book tattooed out on someone. But everyone likes something different, ya know? I think as long as the meaning is strong and important to you, it won't matter.

If u cant find any good pictures of wings...then go to a tattoo artist and tell them how you want the wings...and maybe they'll end up drawing some wings 4 u...that only u can have...cuz they made it just 4 u!

ok yeah. i'd really like to say something about getting pics of tattoos. I think that if you want to get a tattoo, get something completely original and that's special to YOU. But yeah sure, if you're having problems coming up with something, maybe you might want to have examples to just get ideas. I mean, c'mon, you're going to have this for the rest of your life. tattoo removal is costly, too.
and c'mon, wings? that's like getting a rose with a dagger or a heart or something... not very original...
