I already have two tattoos, one on my back (butterfly) and one on my foot (tribal flower). Was thinking of having some stars on my hip-what do you think? Are three tats too many?

I say go for it! I always said I'd stop at three - but I'm now planning on my 7th! Tattoos are so addictive! It sounds like you are the same as me though, getting them in distcreet places always makes sense, that way you can cover up if you want or need to. I like the stars idea too, someone I know just got three small stars on the back of her neck and it looks lovely.

I currently have 3 and am contemplating a 4th. I've never regretted getting them. I've found that tattooing is addictive. Once you start, it's hard to stop. I think you've made good decisions regarding the placement of your tattoo's. They are descreet enough should you need to hide them. Go for it! Get the third.

I never got a tattoo because I might regret it later. Also, with my addictive personality, once I start with one tattoo on my body I will probably want more. I read the following:
"Although no one knows the exact figure, experts estimate that 25%-50% of people who get a tattoo eventually get it removed. ...You can get it surgically removed or you can get a cover-up tattoo. ...And unless your heart is set on them, steer away from green and purple inks, which lasers have the hardest time erasing."

No you can get as many as you want. Just remember I have a star on my hip too!

There's nothing wrong with more tattoos! I hope three isn't too many, my moms getting close to ten now. :-) Have fun with it, and most importantly, BE SAFE about your tats! :)

I have 5..they are all in places that get covered up for work and special occasions!! Two on my lower...my left ankle..my left hip..and my left shoulder blade!!! It all depends on what you have..how big and where do they become a problem!! I plan on getting a few more!! Have fun!!

Don`t do it,daughter as two,told her same as friends love
threes a crowd as they age they fade.I have two,Colours are
gone just left with the blue and it looks tatty.So no more.

I would say go for it.
I mean your hips a great place to have a tattoo anyway, its kind of personal. not like its gonna been seen everywhere you go

I love tattooes & think they look good.If I had the nerve I would have one done. My husband has both arms with tattooes but now he's sorry they were ever done.

I don't feel 3 are too many, but that's a personal decision that only you can really make. If you want it, do it.
