ok i have brown hair and i want to do something different. i have almost black underneath and i want to put pink in my hair should i do it underneath or should i put highlights of pink. please help me make up my mind

I think I need a full coverage foundation because my skin tone is kind of splotchy, I have dry patches above my eyebrows and nose, and I have oily skin everywhere else. It seems that no matter what brand I buy, it's all 'gone' by the end of the work day. Any suggestions? I look around and it seems like everyone else is still fresh looking at 3pm and I'm all washed out.

I don't normally buy products advertised on tv, but chanced Max Factor Masterpiece mascara. All I can say is thankfully it was cheap on ebay. Its no different than the cheap Rimmel mascara I usually use.

im gonna buy loose powder, and do u know what is the best ??
in country i live, there are only:
mac, shu uemura, paul & joe, lancome, estee lauder, guerlain, sisley, dior, ysl,bodyshop, maybelline, revlon, clarins, elizabeth arden, boots, anna sui, shiseido, loreal, bloom, bourjois,clinique, oriflame, T.LeClerc, make up for ever.

and what is the different between translucent or loose powder?, which one should i buy?
one more question, when to use tinted moisturizer, concealer, and powder (im talking about the step)?

My husband and I have been invited to a fancy dress party. I thought we cd go as Gabbar and Basanti from Sholay.
Husband does not think its a gr8 idea cos he is thinner and fairer than me and feels Gabbar wont suit him.
I even bought the Gabbar costume.He wont even try it.So I tried it.It looks good even on me.
Any other ideas?
I need a solution fast....party is on saturday.
The Basanti costume wd be simple...right?...Saree, kajal,lipstick.bindi,gajra etc...or do I need more?
If possible give details of this or any other costume u may suggest.

i can live happy with everything on my face but one thing bugs me like crazy. where most people's bridge of their nose dips down or is straight 'the pixie nose' my bridge sticks out. it kind of reminds me of a witch. : P what is the best way to make it look better using makeup? i'm not having no surgery.

I don't mean that they touch it up or add a bit of lippy, I mean they get on at one stop with no make-up, spend the entire journey putting on their slap - foundation, blusher, eyeshadow, mascara etc - and get off at their stop looking completely different....

I'm biracial and have a medium tan that leans towards a lighter Spanish tint-look. I'm just getting into that phase of womanhood where I'd like to learn how to apply facial makeup like foundation and stuff without looking creepy. I know how to use lipstick, lipgloss, and eye and lip liner. It's the whole facial coverage thing that gets me. I get too freaked when the Macy's girls make you look scary, so I'm trying my luck here. Should I use a powder, mousse, whipped, or a liquid? Personally, I like what's practical and the least messy, fastest and easiest to apply. And should I worry about concealer at twenty years old? Any help? Thanks. -M.

Does it really work to apply pencil liner first before applying liquid liner so that it won't smudge? I wanted to start using liquid because every time I use powder as eyeliner to make a thick line, it smudges! If the pencil liner before liquid liner method doesn't really work, how can I keep my POWDER eyeliner from smudging?

I was using Maybelline Shine-Free foundation, which was perfect for my skin... but for some reason it has disappeared. I need a foundation that is for combination/oily skin, is oil-free, can be bought at wal-mart, target, etc., and preferably has sunscreen. Also, my skin is more neutral/yellow, and some foundations look very pink on me (like Cover Girl). Any ideas?

Gahh! I took off all the hairs on my lip by waxing but then I still got a five o'clock shadow!! Is there anyway I can get rid of that? I have fairly dark skin and black hair.
