when wearing certain types of make up it doesn't let the skin breath as well as it would with out make up. This blocks pores and can lead to spots. Also i have heard that if you leave your make up on over night it ages you by 5 mins each time you do this.
There is a practical side to this if she takes her make up off before going to bed she won't get the pillow covered in foundation and mascara. so you should thank her for this.

That is a good thing. Cosmetics contain a great deal of oils and other additives that are not really good for your skin.
Washing them off before bed helps to clean out the pores, thus preventing acne caused by these ingredients.
See my source for more info.
Hope this helps!

Yes it is right I have worked with makeup my whole life, if you do not remove makeup you get sort of red spots, plus the oil from the makeup can cause breakouts and unbalanced skin.

Wearing makeup like powders and liquids e.g. foundation, blush, etc, can cause clogging of the pores and pimples appearing. Things lke eyeliner and mascara can cause panda eyes(black smudging around the eyes from makeup not being removed) in the morning

it can definitely be a cause of spots if lack of hygiene is prolonged but generally if she skips a night or two she should be fine- given that she has normal skin and not acne prone! Also - many girls dont want to take their makeup off as they are a little insecure so make her feel as comfortable as possible... hope that helps. Its both physical and psychological I guess so good luck!

Wearing make up to bed can clog pores, which will cause spots. And it will get all over her pillow. It wont hurt to wear make up to bed once every now and again, but its not recommended to do it all the time

It's bad to sleep with make-up on. Not only will it clog your pores and may lead to Acne, it leads to wrinkles as well and doesn't leave your face luminous in the morning.
While you sleep, your skin cells regenerate, but has difficulties if your face isn't clean and well moisturized.
Sometimes if I don't' feel like washing my face, I use L'Oreal cleansing wipes with make-up remover. They work good, and they are fast!

True. A dirty, makeup covered face, will clog pores and cause pimples. She should buy those facewipes and keep em next to the bed for those nights when she just doesn't feel like getting up to wash her face.

Well yes it's not correct to sleep with make up on because it will clog your pores and it's like having dirt on your face all night long. You need to clean your face just like you do your body. If you had paint or pen marks on the rest of your body you'd remove them?
