My husband and I have been invited to a fancy dress party. I thought we cd go as Gabbar and Basanti from Sholay.
Husband does not think its a gr8 idea cos he is thinner and fairer than me and feels Gabbar wont suit him.
I even bought the Gabbar costume.He wont even try it.So I tried it.It looks good even on me.
Any other ideas?
I need a solution fast....party is on saturday.
The Basanti costume wd be simple...right?...Saree, kajal,lipstick.bindi,gajra etc...or do I need more?
If possible give details of this or any other costume u may suggest.

If ur husband is thinner and fairer than u...then let him be the fairer sex...make him Basanti and since u like the Gabbar costume so much, u can be Gabbar.
And u can have fun dolling up ur husband in saree,lipstick ,liner,kajal,bindi,gajra,
bangles,earrings,nose stud,payals,etc.
He can even dance at the party like Basanti.

Yes, go with it but you wear Gabbr costume and let your hubby wear Basanthi. Since it is a fancy dress party, it looks very attractive and people natural wonder and they get fancied by seeing your hubby and very beautiful Basanti and you are as Gabbar can imitate a voice of male which is very interesting as natural as you both always be at Your Home.

The Basanti's costume is fit for u but the gabbar's costume will not fit u. u both can have a collective decision

If you run completely out of time try going in togas. Or go as Ceazar (did i spell that right?) and Cleopatra. I think that should work. Cezar had somewhat fair skin because he was from Greece while Cleopatra had darker skin because she was from egypt. they had nice clothes back then!
