Makeup - February 2007

I usually put the complimenting color near the inside of my eyelid (closest to nose) then follow it with green. I have found that purple gets compliments.....but I haven't tried the others....what should I do? (any other suggestions are greatly appreciated.)

I see the commercial on t.v. all the time and I see alot of white people love it hear but no black people have step forward and said they liked it and I'm I black women wondering does it work the same for us cause finding foundation is like a chore.

I dont have a heated curler. Its a travel size sonia kushuk one. Do I use it after I put on mascara or after I do the white primer coat then curl then the 2nd step?? Will the eyelash curler work?its not heated

What is the best thing for morning puffiness on the eye area? When I wake up I always have on my eyelids and undereye area. It takes about an hour or so to go away. Is there anything I could apply to the eye area to help this and make them look fresher? Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Im looking for long, lushes lashes and was wondering what everyone thought was the best lash building mascara (where you apply a few coats of white, then the mascara). I currently use Maybelline Intense XXL Volume and Length but I dont find it very good and my lashes sometimes cake and clump together. Anyone tried a fantastic one that really does give you longer, thicker lashes and that doesnt cake your lashes together?

I am going to get mascara in a few days and I don't know if black or brown is better for me. I have brownish-reddish hair and green-grey-blue eyes that change colour every day (I know it sounds weird, but it is true). Which mascara should I choose and why do you think so? I prefer to use lipgloss, but its never dark enough. Can I put something under the gloss(besides the moisturizer that goes on first[any tips on what works good, I use Medicated Chapstick, nothing else works, but is so expensive.) Would lipliner all filled in work? I have horribly dry skin, so it always shows up. Any tips will help. thanks.

I try to use as little make-up as possible. I would like to make my eyes stand out the most. If there are any places that I "overdo" it, just let me know how I can improve. I have having a serious problem at the moment. I am going to go on a date sometime in March once my date comes up to my area again. And I have terrible dark eye circles under my eye. THEY ARE TERRIBLE. I need to get rid of them. And my face is UGLY. I want to look as best as POSSIBLE. I leed a list of the following that eliminate these circles and make me look BETTER:

hello
i currently use max factor lasting performance shade 100 and its great and cheap but in the hot weather or sun , it can go weird lookin on your face and go scaly and come off!
im going on 2 hols this year to hot places and need a good foundation that wont come off or at least stays on better prefabbly with a spf in it too.
im pale and tanning isnt a option cos im tryin to keep out the sun as much now (health reasons) and enjoy being pale!

ooh and im in the UK incase something u recommend isnt available here!
