I prefer to use lipgloss, but its never dark enough. Can I put something under the gloss(besides the moisturizer that goes on first[any tips on what works good, I use Medicated Chapstick, nothing else works, but is so expensive.) Would lipliner all filled in work? I have horribly dry skin, so it always shows up. Any tips will help. thanks.

Nivea has a tinted lip balm, maybe it will work for you, and it's not that expensive.

U could use lipliner but you should use it before you put any moisture on your lips to ensure it goes and stays on. After you put your lip liner on, use the tip of your finger to blend the lip liner so it won't just look like a line going around your lips. And when you choose a lip liner get it a few shades darker than your lip gloss. Also, shea butter works wonders on your lips, and is not as expensive as that medicated chapstick. Use lipstick first, then cover it in gloss. You can use whatever color or however dark/light you want it to be. As for the moisturizer, I just use ChapStick or Burt's Bees. They work the best for me and they're so cheap. Look for a product without camphor, as it dries out your lips.

This is good beauty secret i dont usually share(got it from a model)..before applying lipstick.brush your lips with toothbrush just like you brush your teeth..yes you can actually brush your lips..it helps to shed off the flaky layer of skin..after that apply vaseline..followed by the lipgloss...wolla....you'll have ultrasmooth and healthy lips..Anothe tip to have a heathy and bright natural looking lips,apply a light coating of honey over your lips...Practice this always...Good luck...muakcz....Signing off:Dr angel_love

when u get in da morning brush ur lips when ur dun wit ur teeth it helps to remove the dry skin ( i also heard its better to brush ur lips wit vaseline) i can buy a primer to go on ur lips first before your lipgloss a primer is usually a nude beige color. mac has great lipgloss & primer i hope this helps

I sometimes use lip liner to cover my whole lip and then make it shiny using clear lipgloss. It's cheap and it stays all day

oil base lipstick works and then gloss over your color of choice. My girl does it all the time. She makes guys jump out of the seat....lol

i'm not a gurl but a girl at my school (she's hot) wears this shiny lip gloss..she got it at like a Walgreens er something if that helps

for dry skin drink as much water as u can!! it seriously worx!! m a perfect example!....n ujse lipsticks b4 u apply lipgloss for darker shade......lipstick is gonna give color n lipgloss will give a shine:)
