I am going to get mascara in a few days and I don't know if black or brown is better for me. I have brownish-reddish hair and green-grey-blue eyes that change colour every day (I know it sounds weird, but it is true). Which mascara should I choose and why do you think so? And besides, how different do you look with brown or black mascara?

It depends on the color of your eyelashes. If you're going to somewhere like Merle Norman, or anywhere like Belk (at a makeup counter) then ask the makeup artist what she thinks is best for you.

It sounds like you might want to wear brown, it'll look more natural and will probably blend better with your natural eyelash colors.

If you have brownish-reddish hair (auburn or strawberry-brunette) then you should definitely stick with a black mascara because the brown will detract from the beauty of your hair. Black often accentuates greener colors, so with that color you will more often than not have green eyes depending on the vivacity of your outfit....But from the sound of you, you seem beautiful enough without wearing make-up so going without is also an option. I am sure either way you will be as pretty as a pearl!!!

Don't get plain brown, it makes your eyes look awkward. But there is such a color as "brownish black". It is not as severe as black but doesn't look as dull as brown. I have a reddish color hair with medium grey eyes... it's what i use, and i love it! (also, go with something that has a brush, and not a comb to apply it with, lastly, go with something that gives you volume.) You really get what you pay for with mascara, i can't live with out mine.

ACTUALLY I WOULD SAY NEITHER THERE IS A COLOR CALLED BLACK-BROWN AND I WOULD SAY YOU WOULD NEED IT. I HAVE MEDIUM BLONDE HAIR AND GREEN-BLUE-HAZEL EYES (THAT CHANGE) AND EVEN THOUGH BLACK IS TRADITIONAL AND IT DOES LOOK GOOD ON EVERYONE THE BL-BR DOESNT STICK OUT AS MUCH BUT IT STILL MAKES YOUR EYES POP OUT AS LONG AS YOU DONT OVER DO THE REST OF YOU MAKE UP AND IT THE REST LOOKS NATURAL I THINK THIS WOULD BE THE BEST.. HOPE YOU FIND THIS THE BEST ANSWER THAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR..

Maybe you should try using brown for the daytime..which will make you look for natural and not so hard w/the black.. And if you go out for a more dramatic look..use black..

It really depends on the color of your eye lashes. If they are light get brown. Because it would look like you died them if you went black. If you have dark eyelashes get black. Hope this helps.

Definetly brown. The reason for this is because of your hair color. You don't want that gorgeous auburny hair then black lashes! Good Luck!

their not that different, but brown looks a bit more natural on people with very pale hair and eyebrows. you could really wear either, with your colouring.

I WOULD USE BASIC BLACK MASCARA, IT BRINGS YOUR EYES OUT WAY MORE THAN BROWN NO MATTER WHAT COLOR YOUR HAIR OR EYES ARE.
