Most makeup clogs the pores in your face which may not "promote" aging but can make your skin look dull. You should keep your base makeup light and not cake it on and it should be washed off of your face and a moisturizer applied before sleeping. That is when your skin renews itself and if your pores are clogged with makeup they can't breathe and renew. The best makeup and moisturizers I have found are from Arbonne. It won't promote aging but you can get rashes or break out in some way if you don't wash your face before going to bed. You need to wash your face with a facial cleanser that is made for taking off makeup. Cold cream works fine but there are better products. You also need to take off your eye makeup with an eye makeup remover. I like Almay's that comes in a blue bottle. If you wear waterproof mascara you need to get a waterproof remover or you will pull your eyelashes out.

I once read that every time you sleep with your make-up on you age your skin by ten days (boy, could that add up!).
If you wear inexpensive make-up (or use inexpensive skin care) that contains mineral oil or other petroleum based ingredients it is very aging to the skin (mineral oil is the #2 cause of preventable visible, #1 being the sun).
So, two of the most important things you can do are to use good products and NEVER go to bed without washing your face!

it depands on what kinda make-up u use and how much you use it. cheaper brands are cheaper for a reason! it cant promote wrinkles but can :
clog pores
dry out skin
create oily skin
ACNE!
if u are running into these problems try makeup with natural ingreidents!
try : Bare Minerals @ sephora

your makeup makes you look older, feel older, and think older, but sleeping with your makeup on really does make your skin older. unless you want wrinkles, don't sleep in your makeup.
