Usually you can see peoples eyelides when theyre open right? well mine you cant so if i wear eye shadow right on the lid you cant even see it! shoudl i just not wear it or are there any good techniques?

What is a good, basic makeup for a very occassional user?

Alright, so...being a very tomboyish person, I have never touched makeup before. However, I need to look decent for an upcoming convention, and the lighting in the hotels tends to wash people out terribly. Not to mention from the stress of getting ready, I have a bit of acne and some old scarring from it.

So what is a good, quick and basic makeup to use for a total newbie? I just want something to even out my skin tone and cover a few small blemishes.

Does this eye color look fake?

Can I wear makeup?

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! i don't know whether i should wear make up or shouldn't?My friend doesn't wear makeup and when she is asked why she says she does not want to hide her face.She says makeup hides the person's original face. But the stunning changes make up makes just fasicinates me. Film actors look so much different with and without makeup.Many times I've heard my friends speak about actors and they say every single actor is ugly without makeup. I've had people saying that they saw some stars in real life without makeup and it made my friends puke (exageration).Often applicating of makeup brings kind of a downside to them (according to friends and public comments).But then I have people saying there is nothing wrong in covering flaws and marks on face that make you ugly. I've had people saying why would you hate your face and wear make up to make it better.One time I couln't recognize a family friend of mine because I always saw her with makeup and that one time she didnt wear make up.
