after 20 years of using eyeliner and wondering if i look like a raccoon all evening... i discovered a specific short bristle brush and eyeshadow. apply that in your lashes in the morning and you dont need to fix it till midnight. i usually only add eyeliner on the inside of the eye a few times during the day and i get no running or alice cooper look. lancome makes good mascara.

It depends what kind of liner you want. If you want liquid, I suggest Bare Minerals weather everything liner sealer. (You can buy it at QVC.com!) It will make your eyeliner stay on overnight, or even longer, depending on how much you put on!
Trust me, I promise you it is worth the money, considering the kit it comes in is about $25.
If you're talking about powder eyeliner, Bare Minerals also has this too. I use this everyday and even though it won't stay on as long as the liquid, it will stay on for a fairly long amount of time!

Try lining your eyes with an eyeshadow in the same/similar shade over your pencil liner. I find it softens the look and helps your liner last longer.
I personally like MAC...their products have excellent pigmentation and longevity. They have a huge selection of colors, too!

My favorite eyeliner is by almay. it's one of those self sharpeners and all you have to do is twist it. It lasts super long and only around $9 or so. I mean so long that even when i wash my face some of it will still be on and it does last all day!

I like TIGI Big Fat Fun eyeliner. You probably have to go to a salon to get that, but I love them. They have fun colors too! Goes on really smooth and lasts a very long time. Not too expensive either.

I use NYC and it last all day! Never ran once. It's the only eyeliner I recommend and you can get it at wal-mart for like a buck.

I am a Mary Kay consultant so I only use Mary Kay eyeliner. It is the best on the market. We also have a eye makeup remover that takes it off gently!
