Hooded eyes: Apply light colors on the lid. Use darker colors from the center of the eyelid to the outer corners and blend.

Light colors cause the eyes to open, dark colors will cause the eyes to recede

If you want to wear that eye shadow, wear that eye shadow. Just because you have hooded eyes doesn't mean that you are restricted from dressing up your eyes. Go to my website www.marykay.com/tcraddock Go to What's news and click on application tips, eye shape tips, then just click on hooded eyes. This will give you application tips. For more fun, go to virtual makeover and choose your skin type and you can see what colors look best on you. Hope this helps.

Try a dark powder shadow ABOVE the crease of your eye. Apply when your eyes are open to get it in the right spot. Works like a charm!

try using a light shadow on the lid like white or cream and a dark shadow in the crease like dark brown or gray. along your lash line apply a "THIN" line of liner. Curl your lashes and put mascara. done.
