Pantene shampoos don't work for all but who knows it might for you. :) You might need to experiment a little to see what works. I, for one, use Fructis Length and Strength shampoo, it may not make the hair grow faster, but shoot it really does help to stop the hair from breakage as well as falling off, so in that sense it does help the hair grow long on its own time. :) Also drink lots of water, exercising surprisingly does help with oxygen going through out the body particularly the brain since your also working out that huge muscle, eat less fatty foods and more of the good stuff especially fruits and veggies and vitamins really help when you don't eat right. As you can see there is more to hair than just a shampoo. As they say "get to the "root" of the problem."

first make sure your diet is good enough- add a lot of vitamins to your diet- Have a lot of fruits, and drink lots of fluids.
oil yr hair once a week, with either Almond oil or coconut oil, let it be with oil for at least few hours -
wash with a good shampoo, ask ur hairstylist for a brand - then condition it with a good conditioner.
avoid blow drying or hot ironing - or hot curlers as often as you can. As that will harm your hair.
