Makeup - January 2007

Hi, I just received the BE Starter Kit and followed the instructions to a T, I like the way it looks, but find that my skin is very youthful and dewy looking without the foundation, and it doesn't look as dewy after, though more "finished," is this normal? Thanks!

I don't know why but under and on the side of my nose I got a whole bunch of little zits and dry skin. It sucks and is really embarrasing! I tryed just putting lotion on it a lot to help the dryness but i think that may be the reason the zits won't go away. Anyone have any great remedies?

i have smaller almond shaped eyes, and i usually wear eyeliner on my top lid every day because it defines my eyes a little better, but i dont know how to smudge it w/o taking it all off. i have a smudging sponge thing, and all my eyeliner comes off when i use it! also, how can i use eyeliner to make my eyes look bigger, or any other cosmetics to really make my eyes pop? what colors or brands maybe? thanx a bunch!

I'm 23 and I use mostly Lancome products and when I put it on in the morning, it looks great! First I apply some moisterizer and eye cream, then concealer, a touch of foundation, then powder. Then I do the blush, eye shadow, liner, mascara and lipstick/gloss. I also make sure to do the whole "cover your make-up with a layer of powerder thing", to keep it locked in. This helps a bit, but I feel like by the end of my work-day, I look different.

My skin is a bit oily or I should say, oily/combination, and I use oil-free face make-up, but it just doesn't stay fresh all day. I've even tried to take my compact with me in my purse, for touch-ups, and it helps a bit, but it doesn't solve my problem.

I've heard of some make-up sprays that you put on after all of your make-up, that keeps it on, but I'm sure most women don't use that, and their make-up looks fresh all the time.

Any suggestions ladies??

I use black eyeliner just underneath my eyes, black mascara, and a little bit of light purple eye shadow on my eyes.
