It's going to depend on what color you dyed your hair. If you dyed it a dark ashe brown (no red highlights) I would try a foundation to make your skin more "porcelain" looking with make-up that plays this up...either smokey eyes with charcoals & blacks with a nude or pale pink lip...even a true red would work. Try looking at adding something with a little pink into your foundation - perhaps even a little luminizer such as High Beam by Benefit or, instead of regular powder blush, use a tint such as Benetint, also by the same company and available at Sephora and other beauty stores.

If you dyed your hair a dark brown with some red in it (look at your hair in the sun to tell the difference) warmer colors will be in order. Instead of adding a different color to you foundation, warm it up with bronzer but don't use it like a blush. Use a large fan shaped brush and, starting just below your cheek bones work around your face from hairline to not quite the inside of the face. Good colors for this are: Stila Sun 2, Stila Sun 1 and ModelCo Bronze Trio.

Use your eye color to dictate your shadows and remember to use complimentary colors to make your eyes POP! Getting a small color wheel and keeping it in your makeup bag can help a lot. If your have green or hazel eyes you'll notice red and orange as your complimentary colors...Look for brownish reds such as Laura Mericer Hickory, American Coffee, Whiskey, Cognac and Temptation. Cheeks should reflect the same warmth. Nars Gilda is beautiful but Nars Orgasm looks good on almost everyone.

As far as lipstick, if you're a red wearer. Wonderful reds for dark warm hair w/ pale skin are Russian Red, Viva Glam both by MAC. Pale corals and soft cocoas also look great but remember to blend, blend, blend your pencil before applying your lip color.

It's all about using your own coloring - eyes & skin & lip coloring and your new hair color to make it all work together. You can be as glam or as natural as you wish.

One more thing to remember, purple looks good on EVEYONE! So you can't go wrong with that as a shadow or liner choice. Check out Black Iris eye pencil by Laura Mercier - one of my fav's!

Hope this has been helpful!
Good luck,
LR

Get your normal foundation and mix a bit of Revlon Skinlights into it. You'll have to choose the one that is right for your skin, based on whether you have pink or yellow undertones. I have naturally dark hair and pale skin and this is how I overcame the chalky, pasty look.

Bronzer. Gives you a sun kissed natural dark glow.
