Why do most girls wear it in the first place? Some girls at my school who wear makeup don't even know how to put it on right, and it looks really sloppish, others put on too much, and others somehow have been wearing the stuff for years and the one day they come to school without it it's like "who the hell is that?!" type thing.....so my question is, does makeup really make girls look prettier or would they be as equally as pretty if they'd never started wearing it in the first place?

I have oily skin. Even though the skin between my eyebrows is oily, it seems to apear flakey or crumbly when foundation is applied.

I use a daily scrub by biore which is great, I use olay complete care moisturiser, and I use 'simple' face wash in the night.

My skin seems in great condition until I use my foundation (I only use foundation to try and cover redness in my skin. )

I am using benefits playstix in 'jax'

I get to work ( i work in a shop, right next to a door with a draughty breeze) and i have to put up with a dodgy heating system.

By the end of the day the foundation just looks all flakey all over my face and

Does anyone have these probs and can someone please tell me the solution.

The new Bourjois mini pallets for eyes have this but it's not new: a thin line of your eyeshadow under your eye. I've tried a multitude of brushes and wet/dry but I can't get it right. Coloured eyeliner is too harsh for some of the effects, specially the ones that use a slightly thicker line. I love those looks you see in magazines where the whole eye is made up, I'd love to try one for going out but regardless of the product it just looks wrong.

i was just wondering if its bad for your skin if you wear it for a long time...im not talking about like a day...i mean like if you wear it everyweek day for like a decade? or more??

i know foundation is bad cuz it blocks ur pores..i think...but

i only wear lipstick, eyeshadow, mascara, face power (shine free), tinted moisturizer

is that ok if i wear the things above?

can they pierce me with a stud rather than a ring? the reason I want to do this is for work purposes.
also, would it totally be out of the question to change it after a week or so [just incase my work doesnt allow it] - like put a clear thingy in until its healed up?

What is your favorite brand of makeup and why? Do you feel it lasts longer? Do you feel it's a better price or selection? I'm trying to find good makeup that is a good price (I don't see the point in wasting a lot money on it!) but is also a good product.

I constantly see retractable blush brushes and I'm so frustrated at this point. I want something really large and fluffy and soft, for powder touch-ups while I'm out. Why is it so difficult to find something of high quality, and *large* enough for the job? (I'm thinking like the Japonesque squirrel hair powder brush, but in a retractable case.)

hi, I just made an appointment at sephora for a free makeup consultation. It's the first time I do this. Am I obligated to buy their products? Do they do a drastic makeover? I just want to learn how to apply the right products on my face the right way and maybe finally learn which concealer will hide my so DARK circles.
I just dont want to walk out of there looking like I'm going to a party or anything like that.

Thanks

Whats the best tinted moisturizer out there?
I find foundation too heavy to wear every day, would just like something with light coverage in a tinted moisturizer to wear everyday.
Any suggestions? I live in the UK
