First brush a light, shimmery shadow on the inside corners of your eyes and just below your eyebrows. This will make sure all the dark make-up doesn't overpower your eye, especially if your eyes are on the small side. Next use some shadow and lightly dust it on your eyelid up to the crease. Use some gel or liquid eyeliner and wing it out slightly. Use the same shadow you used before and smudge it just over the eyeliner, using an eyeliner brush or a Q-tip. This will keep the liner in place and give you the "smoky" look. Finally, use some mascara and some cream blush, so the eye make-up doesn't overpower you. You can use almost any dark shadow to achieve this look. Black is obviously the most common, but it can be overpowering, especially if you have fair skin. You can try using brown, navy, grey, dark green, or purple, and you can even try mixing in some metallic elements. Hope that helped : )

Liquid/gel eyeliner and mousse mascara generally will give you that sexy look, along with nice warm eyeshadows. Of course, this all depends on your complextion. I would suggest, for a specific type of black eyeliner/mascara, "Daring Definition Gel Eyeliner" and "Daring Definition Mousse Mascara". The Avon catalog I have has a section called "eyeQ" where it actually gives you a step by step process on how you can get those sexy-kittenish eyes!

For this look, probably best you use MAC products. It's all about the blending technique for the smoky eye look, don't over do it though, because then you'll look like you got punched!

k. u can go on youtube.com and watch some "smokey eyes" techniques! it's quite fun.
also, i think u need to get a ponytail brush (i JUST bought one at target, the sonia kashuk line, like $3.99), and when u put on the dark color, u use the brush in little circles until it blends! i haven't done it myself yet, but that's how they do it on the videos.
good luck!

dark grey eyeshadow on top and also under the eye..
dnt use eyeliners. any kind of them for this is bad. it fades fast and leaves creases..
