Makeup - November 2006

when i go on the sunbeds, or go on holiday i never tan on my face so i look odd with a white face and brown body.. can anyone suggest why this happens and if there is anything i can do about it

I have dark circles and when i apply eye efinition pencil or a liner they look darker, i don't like to put on too much of concealer, what should i do such that my eyes look brighter? I am brown so what color eye pencil would look good?

I have big trouble. I am a guy of 19. My nose is so big and wide. I am to much ashamed because of it. I can't understand what should I do. Is there any way to look it smaller? any hairstyle? any makeup using telcum powder only?

I don't wan't nose job. I have not enough money. Please help.

What's the best foundation for clear, acne-free skin? I don't need much coverage but I need some color to my entire face. Should I go with a powder, liquid foundation, tinited moistureizer? Specific products/brands please.

In the morning, I wash my face with soap, and use a Clean&Clear acne cleanser but I also have 2 St. Ive's apricot scrubs: one is Acne Free Blemish & Blackhead control and the other is a Apricot Invigorating scrub. Am I allowed to use one of those after the Clean&Clean scrub or not and if so, which one. also have ProActiv for my acne which I use at night. my problem is that I have 2 many products and not sure which ones to use and when. I hear that your supposed to use cleansers and follow by moisturizers or something. I'm just confused. After I use the clean&clear acne cleanser, I just put my makeup on, come back from school 7 hours later and my face is EXTREMLEY OILY &ICKY!! So I wash my face with a Clinque Wash-away gel cleanser to remove my makeup and usually, I'll use one of my apricot scrubs following my ProActiv if I'm going to be home all day. If not, then I use my ProActive at night. I need help to when and when not to use my products. Which cleansers and mositerizers?

I currently am using Clinique (superfit makeup) liquid foundation which was $20 and I didn't have an extra $20 to buy the press poweder with it. The lady at the counter told me to use a press powder over the liquid foundation, so I bought Maybelline Shine Free-Oil Control Press Powder. The problem is that no matter what, my face is ALWAYS oily within the first 2 hours of putting the makeup on. I generally have really oily skin but I'm not sure if it's my skin or if the press powder isn't working. So does anyone know of a liquid foundation and press powder combo I can use to have at least 7 hours of normal and not oily skin and doesn't cost too much? I have a wedding to go to in ONE week and I don't want my face to get really oily. I do have those Biore oil-absorbing sheets but if I use those, then I have to reapply my makeup all over....I know this is confusing but does anyone have ant suggestions? Please? :)

I searched through online sites for several cinema makeup schools but i dont know which one is better... and by just looking at their catalogs it seems that they are all about the same. I did went to visit a few locations, but still can't tell which one is better. I want to find a makeup school that teaches more in prosthetic and special makeups. Please help!!
