Try eating something light an hour before bed, cereal, toast, oatmeal, easily digestible, but it will help you sleep because being hungry at bedtime (though they tell you not to eat three hours before) can be part of it. Also make sure to get EXERCISE during the day so you're tuckered out by bedtime, but if you still have the "puffs" under your eyes, an undereye concealer really, really helps!

If you have a TV in your room turn it off before you go to bed. Either keep it quiet, listen to some quiet soft music without words, or nature sounds. Drink warm milk. Avoid caffeine and nicotine during the last part of the day. Do not eat for at least 3 hours before bed. Try a tea like sleepy time, or chamomile, without caffeine. Take a warm bath a little while before you go to bed. Avoid exercising too late in the day or any mentally stimulating activities.

Try to read something - that works for me. Something you find interesting, but not too exciting of course. I agree with coolmom that it is always a good idea to exercise during the day - but not right before you go to bed, that'll make it even more difficult to fall asleep. How noisy is it in your bedroom? I am personally very sensitive to noise when I am going to fall asleep and I don't think it's a good idea to play music while you try to fall asleep.

Go to bed earlier, and wipe your mind of thoughts of the day. Meditate, think of yourself as drifting through time and space, or think of a dream you would like to have. This is what i have done because it always took me more than an hour to go to sleep. Now it is like a drug to me. If I don't get to sleep early, and deam my waned dreams, I awake tired and listless. Same if I go to a party and drink alcohol, but I suspect for a different reason. Also, if I oversleep I am also listless and tired

Take a couple of aspirin (or Advil, whatever you like) and make sure it's dark, and you're warm. Studies have shown people sleep better in a dark room, you get more 'deep' sleep.

all of the above are great suggestion, in case you haven t probably have been given different "scientific" themes linked with it. extra suitable than in all threat, in case you have had no indicators in the previous and been making a music a jointly as, it s no longer by way of a metamorphosis on your making a music, yet a metamorphosis on your actual self. i think of the terrific suggestion given above is to "initiate" with your Ear nostril & Throat wellbeing practitioner. enable s do away with any actual problems first to evade you from unfavourable something on your throat. there are a number of long term, ongoing infections and inflammation appropriate themes that could go away your throat in this project. have faith it or no longer, your nostril hollow area can mature over the years and deliver a small drainage into the returned of your throat which interacts with your vocal chords inflicting inflammation, and so on. the 1st query you're able to ask your self is: Do you have any great mucus that accumulates there? Do you finally end up clearing your throat and or swallowing plenty? If the respond is for specific, then you definately could pass to the ENT expert. in case you get a sparkling invoice of wellbeing out of your ENT, then via all ability, pass right into a classification the place you're taking notice of "how" you sing. looks such as you ve been making a music long adequate to do the right exams to work out in case you're making a music out of your diaphragm, and in case you re over-straining your voice. additionally, confirm you haven t replaced positions in the choir and can now be making a music "exterior" your comfortable variety. this occurs plenty with pro singers who prefer to take it to the subsequent point, yet their throat doesn t. And final, the advice approximately warming up and waming down is great suggestion. people who sing all of the time could evaluate their bodies like an athlete does. They heat up, stretch and prepare themselves in the previous they sing. Secondly, continuously heat down, that s a great thank you to furnish your throat a great gamble to swap. additionally, do no longer forget that maximum professional singers refuse to consume or drink something beforehand of a overall performance. There s a clarification for that. for the duration of eating and digestion, your equipment is over-generating saliva to help with the early digestive technique, and this can be what s obstructing your making a music. the rule says 4 hours, even although some will argue 2 or 3. My suggestion is, locate out what works suited for you. wish this enables, and from a specialist KJ, save on doing God s paintings... :)
