I just went to the dermatologist the other day for the first time, and he told me that, no makeup is made oil-based anymore except for stage makeup which you wouldn't buy anyway. So he said makeup will NOT clog your pores, OR break you out, so if you like cheap brands from Walmart thats fine or if you prefer makeup from Sephora, that is fine also, its all about what you prefer. But as for a good foundation, there are a few I like, they are all liquid foundation, one is Sally Hansen cornsilk liquid foundation, which I can't find anywhere anymore except Ebay, but it covers nice and gives you a nice hint of color. Another is the whole line of Clinique liquid makeup, and the Maybelline H20 makeup made with 50 percent water.
Good luck finding one!

Estee Lauder Double Wear Liquid Foundation. A little goes a long way. You shouldn't put foundation on your entire face, just dab a little in your nose, forehead, cheeks and chin then cover outwards. Then lightly powder your face. I use Physician's Formula Mineral Wear. It keeps your skin from breaking out and good for sensitive skin.

I use 'dream matte mousse' by maybelline. I love it, it is really lightweight and you cant even tell you are wearing it, like a lot of foundations do.
It also matches my skin perfectly, and its usually a bit hard for me to find one that matches my skin tone.
I have clear skin as well, and all I want is a foundation that evens out my skin tone nicely, but also covers a few acne scars I have on my chin, and this does exactly that.
It was around $8.00 for me at my local walmart, which is a very reasonable price considering how well it works.
Good luck!

if you have nothing to cover, just go with tinted moisturizer.
if you need a medium coverage, and long lasting, go with lightweight foundation (I prefer water-base one).
Specific brand? well its depends..But I recommend you Make Up For Ever Face & Body Liquid. For tinted moisturizer..just mix it with your moisturizer.

if youre oily Skin..go for the oil free Product.
for the T-zone,use a lighter shade of Foundation, lighter than youre skin,Specially on the EYE BAG area,
try The maybelline foundation,it contains SPF20 thats good to protect you from the sun rays.
if you have a great skin..you shouldnt think about it..just stay as you are,Be youre self, remember the simplier the better.

No foundation is best. Yes, anytime you put lotion, foundation, powder, etc on your face, you are clogging your pores (you did just apply a physical substance, right?). Your pores will open up, to "breathe" and you are adding to the likelihood of breaking out.
Also, does anyone have the courage to approach those women and tell them that their masks look awful, STOPPING at their jawline. I can't believe that some women don't know the word "blend"...

You should definitely try STILA brand Tinted Moisturizer. It comes in tons of colors and just evens out the skin tone with light coverage looks natural as can be. I love it and everyone ive turned on to it has thanked me. The only place I know to get it is Sephora. They have a website. www.Sephora.com

Bare Essentuals. Available at QVC or the Bare Minerals site. For more information visit the Bare Minerals web site. Love this makeup. Have not worn base makeup (only eye makeup) for 16 years. It's a powder. Will cover any blemishes, freckles, etc.

If you have combination to dry skin, go to liquid or cream foundation. If you have oily skin, then it would be best to go for powder foundation. I love Chanel's liquid foundation so far and the details are at: http://beauty-tricks.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=133
