Hair - June 2007

I know what basic foil and chucking are but I am not sure about these ones, Baliage, hair paiting, piecing? I am thinking about getting highlights but I want them to look natural I have dark brown hair now and I was think about getting some highlight.

i have weak hair + hair loss which people say is due to daily shampooing.if i shampoo twice a week ,pls. suggest what should i apply in the rest of the days.i use hair cream(parachute).so only shower wont remove the oiliness.

My mom chopped of her shoulder length beautiful hair as I feared into a bowl cut. Her back and sides have been clipper shaved all the way to her crown, Her bang are quarter thro' her forehead. To sum it up her head looks lke a fountain.IT's ALL BECAUSE OF HER STUPID JEALOUS ******* FRIEND(refer to my prvious entry yesterday). To add insult to injury my friends think she's cool, she herself likes it and her friend doesn't stop flattering my mom on how young she looks.Am I thhe only one dissatisfied with it or is everybody playing along with my mom. She even streaked her mophead with colours. She looks like a 16 year old teenage girl when she's supposed to the mom of a 17 yr old. I am sick of it. Anyway thanks for all ur suggestion guys but I couldn't stop this **** from happening. I threatened her of cutting my hair akwardly if she goes thro' with it and do u know the reply i got "It's ur hair do what u want with it but u don't interfere with my hair as I don't with urs". I feel sad.

Ok I have been trying to grow out my hair for three years, I started with shoulder langth and now it only down to about half way down my arm. It won't grow! My mother is a hair dresser, and says that my health and flat ironing is what is keeping it from growing, but won't offer a solution. I don't blow dry it, and I am at my whits end. Any suggestions.

I had Red highlights put in my hair 2 weeks ago and some Brown at the same time my hair was already a reddish colour but it was block and wanted it breaking up a bit so i went to a new hairdresser (from some one who recommended them to me.)
I was there for 4 and a half hours they weaved the Brown then used foils for the Red when it was done i was glad to leave after being there for so long. My boyfriend said when i got in that i should of complained and you carnt see the red that much i asked for bright red. Now 2 weeks later you carnt see them at all you couldt after a week. Since talking to the women who recommened me to them she said i should go in and complain ive rang them and she said it wont last on red hair very long to which ive said i understand but ive had them done beforesand its lasted months i wouldt be so upset but it cost me £60 and i only had the top part of my head done. Im going to see them in a hour or so just want some help on what to say before i go.

okay so i plan to dye my hair purple over the summer, but basically should i bleach it before i dye my hair so its a more vibrant color? currently my hair is a medium brown with faded red highlights. and no i wont be doing the bleaching myself if i do decide to do so I'll just have it done at a salon

I want to make my hair wavy, but I don't know how. What do you think is the best way? I saw that people say to use salt water, but do you use it when your hair is dry or wet? && I know you can also braid it or put it in a bun. Did some one have any idea about Home Laser Hair body remover , the problem is aim trying to buy on e-bay.co.uk but before i buy it and loss my money i just want to make sure if it is work with my hair body or not , i got so much hair , i tried to removed before by wax but i got it back after few weeks and more than before .

i have a bunch of hair. every single time i get a haircut the ladies say wow you have a lot of hair girl and talk about it while their cutting my hair. I usually get embarassed. Anyway i have a lot of hair. its wavy and extremely puffy. i bought a wigo iron, but you had to grip it really tight and it would get flatter but i had to run it over the same piece like 5 times and it ook forever so i wanna know if you can recomend me a good one that is under $90.that can get the job done extremely well and fast. tanks in advance!!!!!
