how should i style my hair. all i do is straighten it and it's boring. by the way, my hair dosn't hold a curl. also, how should i get it cut???

i also have layers and (kinda)sideswept bangs this just isn't a good picture!

I recommend you try a piece-y haircut and use one of the larger curling irons on it, at least to start. You can have a lot of fun trying different things with it. You have fine, thin hair, so to hold curl you need a firm styling gel. There are lots of effective brands, so visit your local beauty supply store that's open to the public and have them recommend one to you.

why dont u try not straightening it just take a shower before bed then when u wake up dont brush it just if there are some nots take those out but brush as little as possible it might turn out wavy but that is my hair otherwise get it wet then take moose or gel and jooch it through your hair and shake your head upside down and then once you'v joched it enough then hair spray it and it might hold. if neither of those work then if you have thin hair and a feminen face then u could get a pixie cut but if your hair is thick keep it below your choulders and get side swept bangs get them kinda long because they feel to short at the middle of your eye.

ps if you get layer and your hair is long make them very big like chin and down and for your bangs razor them at an angel like start at the bottom of your eye or wherever u want then make them end at mid-cheek.

Why don't you try adding long bangs to frame your face? Chin or ear length bangs can look fun and cute! Also, you can try parting it differently (try middle-part or a little zig-zag action!) Have fun, play around and see what looks good. Although you have a good face shape so most hairstyles should look good on you.

your avatars hair cut is hella cute. but your hair is beautiful. color and all. i use prostyle clear gel on my hair while i curl it. just a little on a small piece of hair, curl with curling iron, hold tight for gel to dry and there you have it.

get some layers, they'll add some va-va-voom to your hair
