permanent hair dye is just that... its permanent.
the thing is that as ur hair grows out , the roots are the original colour of ur hair...
that can be as quick as a couple of months.. depending on ur hair growth.
then u need to touch up ur hair colour.

plus the dyed hair tends to fade or change colour slightly with time, due to weather, regular washing, using other hair products... its best to use shampoos and conditioners that protect hair colour.

with all the above considerations u may need to re-colour in 2-3 months... if u have short hair.. upto 6 months for long hair.

Months? I'd say 4-5 weeks, until the roots start to get obvious. Girls with dark roots who have dyed their hair blond have to dye it at least every 4 weeks. Of course if the colour you've dyed it to isn't that far off from your natural colour then I suppose you could go for 8 weeks. Also remember if it's Summer, hair dye fades.

They usually start to fade after a month or so, sometimes not even that long. And then it depends on how fast your hair grows, because your natural color (roots) will start to show.
Depends on the brand and your hair.

it really depends upon the quality of the product. but if it is really permanent then it will stay forever and will soon be replaced by new growing hairs.
