I am a male with african hair, and have been trying to get 360 waves for a long time with a brush and do-rag, but no results. Am I suppose to wash my hair while trying to get them?

It's easy. Buy some good Hair Grease. Either Johnshon's conditioning grease (the blue kind), or you can buy Murphy's wave cream. Dampen your hair with a warm wet rag and then apply the grease. Then brush it several times. Then, MOST importantly, put on a durag and let it sit for several hours. Do this daily and I PROMISE you'll have nice waves without expensive remedies.

The most important thing to do is brush, go with the pattern, and moisturize your hair. Wear a du rag too.
