Ok I have been trying to grow out my hair for three years, I started with shoulder langth and now it only down to about half way down my arm. It won't grow! My mother is a hair dresser, and says that my health and flat ironing is what is keeping it from growing, but won't offer a solution. I don't blow dry it, and I am at my whits end. Any suggestions.

You need to make sure that you keep the split ends gone, condition your hair regulary and wait.
I would start the summer off with a trim of all my ends and let the summer do its magic. For some reason hair always seems to grow faster during the summer.

Stop Ironing your hair, let it go natural!!!!
Drink tons of water
