Hair - May 2007

i use a straightener alot and blowdryers and i have had it dyed now too, i am afraid of my hair getting too dry and i dont want to cut off alot of it so i was trying to find a way to restore my hair's health. i have tried various shampoos like the new pantene one but i am looking for a better, more significant fix. any suggestions? thanks!

Ok so I have natural, long, *almost* brunette hair. I have never dyed it. I have a hair appointment in the early summer to get my hair highlighted. I am paying it with my own money, and I am really excited. Here are my questions:

1. I either want to get red, pink, or purple, which will show up the best?

2. I also either want to get them under my hair or like real highlights, I am pretty sure I am going to layer my hair with a swoop cut for the bangs. Is this ok?

3. I heard that I may have to bleach my hair, I hope not!

4. And finally, hair fades quicker in the summer, so I was thinking once in the begginning of June and once in the middle of July, will it be out if school starts around August 20th?

i don`t get how they thin your hair with these special scissors or whatever in different sections. wouldn`t that be like uneven layers? so if i like tie my hair up some parts of my hair might not fit into the ponytail? and how much does it cost?

the problem is my eyebrows change colors in the light.
like the brighter it is, my eyebrows go light, the darker it is, they go darker.

how can i keep them in one color?
i dont want to dye them!

I want a new hairstyle. I have shoulder length hair when I straigten it. It's extremley bushy and course even when I do straighten which I do daily. Ok so I got a perm and it was a bad one so my hair is in a bad state now. It has an mark like were the perm is still in hair n that part is all dry n oil feelin but were it is not perm left, its fine. Also I have dyed it so that kidna hurt it too. Another thing is my hair is very thin, i want it like to be norm atleast. I want thicker hair, i guess ya can say. Also I want my hair to be soft so I use a leave in-condinor but i think its dryin out my hair, I use Aussie.

i want to perm my hair but i only want to perm certain parts only.i want to perm the top part of my back hair and i don't want to perm my fringe too.Can this be done in the salon?

Im going to get my hair cut.
My hair is like, 2 in past shoulder length, and its really wavy.
I like the emo/punk hairstyles, but I can't seem to find the right one.
Most of them are really short, but I can't do short, for my hair will look like an afro, its so wavy. I am willing to do any kind of bangs, because I have the time to staighten them every morning.

I have the Dax wave grove tub (its red) and i've been useing it for a week- still no results- do i have to brush my hair in a certain way? Do i have to get a special comb? I want really visible waves- how? My hair is coarse and thick (obviously at the moment i have got it very low- 1 inch)

it use to be long but the perm took out my hair it grew back then fell out again any products or remedies i could do to make it grow back to its natural legnth
