The owner of the salon does my facial. Should I tip her? Between the facial and the products that I purchase it sometimes costs 200.00.

Generally since the owner is the one profiting from the $200 you're spending, tipping is not required. The point of a tip is to personally reward an employee for their service, outside of their obligations as an employee. It's between you and them. If you feel like the owner merits a tip, it's your choice, but since she is the owner do not feel obligated.

I comprehend that it is not mandatory to tip the owner, on the grounds that she's retaining the whole value of the service besides. incredibly once you're a common and you purchase added products, i might say you do no longer could desire to tip every time. in case you opt to do something severe-high quality for her, perhaps evaluate a contemporary card for espresso or something like that for her birthday or a trip.

hi agree with pa69. it does not matter if she is the owner or not. it is only right to tip a person for service if they did a good job. it could be 5 or 10 dollars.

My hair stylist is the owner of her salon and I have always tipped her. And anytime I have needed odd hours or special consideration, it has never been a problem.

No, never. The owner of any business does not expect gratuities. It is an insult to the integrity of their position.
