I am looking for a reasonably priced hair stylist that does African American hair regularly. Using natural products and low to no heat styling tools. Ethnic background of the stylist does not matter. As long as they are focused on HAIR CARE!!!

I have several split ends that i know of and probably many more because i have seen and felt my hair get a little thinner (my hair was really thick). Some split all the way up to few inches before the root. So...is there any other way to stop split ends besides cutting your hair shorter?

Okay, I have NOO idea what color I want to dye my hair. I know that I can ask my stylist but I dont like the way she dyes my hair anymore. (Im working on finding a new hair dresser) ANYWAYS. I have longgg brown hair and my face is oval shaped and I am kinda pale with brown eyes. Also, how should I cut it?

Sure Wavy Hair looks nice on girls, sexy even. I'm ashamed of mine, its big and poofy and long, bunch of split ends. I dont even know what to do with it anymore. I'm not the type of crew cut guy, but every cut I like is for straight haired boys. I don't know what to do with my hair and its VERY distressing. I have no fasion expert friends so I dont know who to ask.

Ok, so there is this HUGE lice drama going around the whole school district. They thought I had it, so they sent me home. I got it treated that night, then was clear the next day. Now I have it again, in less than a week, when they shampoo stuff said it would last for two weeks. They said I have five nits, and propbably more, because I have such thick hair. What should I do? It's like right when you get rid of it, it comes back! I brush through it with special comes, use special conditioner, and shampoo. Will this whole lice drama ever go away?

Trimming your hair doesn't make it grow faster what trimming does is it removes the split ends and helps in healthy stronger hair. When your ends are split, they continue to split,moving closer and closer up the shaft to the roots then finally they break into 2 resulting in weak strands.Which leads to hair breakage and thinning.

ok..so got the hairdresser to dye my hair for me a blonde color and I got ripped off because it turned orange. So I died it a dark ash blonde. And after about a month, the dye I did at home is coming out and you can really see the orangy tone my hair used to be. So would natural match 7c ash blonde work on my hair to take away the brassiness. I'm not sure and i'm kind of scared to use it on my hair. I don't want my hair to still look brassy because then i'll have died and damaged my hair even more. So do you think this will work on my hair? it says on the website that (loreal website) that 7c cool will minimise brassy tones. What do you think?
