Ok, so there is this HUGE lice drama going around the whole school district. They thought I had it, so they sent me home. I got it treated that night, then was clear the next day. Now I have it again, in less than a week, when they shampoo stuff said it would last for two weeks. They said I have five nits, and propbably more, because I have such thick hair. What should I do? It's like right when you get rid of it, it comes back! I brush through it with special comes, use special conditioner, and shampoo. Will this whole lice drama ever go away?

Saturate your hair in Listerine for 2 hrs. Put a shower cap on with it. Then make the following:

Head Lice Shampoo

Small Amount
2 tablespoons Tea Tree Oil
6 ounces Dawn Dishwashing Liquid (Dawn ONLY)
2 ounces white vinegar

Medium Amount
2 ounces Tea Tree Oil
12.5 ounces Dawn Dishwashing Liquid (Dawn ONLY)
4 ounces white vinegar

Large Amount
4 ounces Tea Tree Oil
25 ounces Dawn Dishwashing Liquid (Dawn ONLY)
8 ounces white vinegar

Mix the three ingredients in a large squeeze bottle, such as an empty dish soap bottle. Use as regular shampoo, leave on for about 5 minutes before rinsing. Use conditioner to soften hair and keep dandruff down. Tea Tree Oil may cause some dandruff, but the bugs will be gone. May use every day, and bugs are usually gone within a week. Be VERY CAREFULL not to get in eyes or mouth.

Use a nit comb to come out the nits. You should be fine.

Find a bug bomb that includes lice and do that but READ the directions. You may even want to ask the Doctor for any suggestions on getting rid of them in your house. keep your head away from others don't share anything. Keep your jacket or any other items away from others stuff lice can jump a bit.

Hi, You probably need to throw away your combs and brushes that you had when you had your first break out. You need to wash all your bedding in hot water with bleach. When you go to school make sure that you have your hair pulled up if it is long and do not let anyone use anything personal of yours. If you do these things you should get rid of them and be ok.

Get a tub of coconut oil from your local pharmacy, comb it through your hir from root to tip and take the nitcomb to your hair...they can't grip with the oil.
Also tea tree oil dropped throughout the hair is a repellent.
