I am looking for a reasonably priced hair stylist that does African American hair regularly. Using natural products and low to no heat styling tools. Ethnic background of the stylist does not matter. As long as they are focused on HAIR CARE!!!

I don't live in your area, but when you see someone's hair you like ask him or her where he or she get it done. Also when you have a consultation at a new salon make sure the stylist is licensed, look at the stylist's own hair (is their hair healthy looking), and look at the clients (do they have hair as you want and is it healthy). If you answer no to any of these questions find another salon.

When I was looking for a salon in a new city/town, I called salons asking what products they used, what was their price points on certain styles I was looking into like relaxers, wet sets, etc. If they aren’t the right salon for you, ask them if they could recommend a salon or stylist that had what I was looking for. Until I found a new salon/stylist, I went to JC Penney's salon. They were reasonable and I liked the products they used. Use the store locator to find one near you.
