Hair - February 2007

I am currently working out and I would like to get a full head weave sewn in. I would like to use straight (human) hair. My beautician advises against this, she says that it won't look good after my workouts, because of all of the sweat.

Is taht true?

I am a male, and looking to go into the cosmetology field in NYC. I will be starting next year. I was looking up some salons in NYC on the internet, and some of them were up to 400 dollars for a haircut! Does it depend on which college you go to, or does it depend on your training? well.. about a year ago i dyed my hair black, then about 6 months ago i wanted the black out so i went and bought a bleaching kit from shoppers and used it at home well it didn't do **** it just left ugly yellow blotched in my hair . then i dyed it a light color and then it looked even more ****** up , ok so now today i just dyed it a light brown and its very messed up ... i'm cheap and i don't wanna spend so much for my hair at a salon, is there any way to do this at home, or at the salon can they just take all the hair dye out somehow..

well i want to die mi hair for mi birthday but i dnt kno if wat i want will look right my hair is naturally medium browm with natural carmel highlights but wat i want to do with it is frost mi hair black & blonde (really small highlights so you can still see some of mi brown hair ) & then dye the under layer of my hair black how do you think it will look?

in the nights i take a shower and wash my hair...then i go to bed... my hair is still a little wet when i go to bed, and when i wake up in the morning my hair is lopsided and messed up...i know why...but is there anyway to stop it without letting it dry...

i have straight thick hair
and i have side bangs
but they're growing a bit too long
and i need to trim them
but my car's in the shop
and i need them for tomorrow.

1. should i trim then wet or dry?
2. which direction should i cut them, like straight across, or shorter towards the middle going down??

any extra tips apreciated too.
