I have none of the stuff and I have a date later tonight. I cant go run out and get some because its raining. Is there anything I can make using basic home stuff as a substitute for heat protection spray/creme?

use a small amount of conditioner on your ends. just dont get it to your roots..or sometimes i use lotion..just keep in away from your roots or you'll end up with enough grease to fry some chicken! enjoy your date :P

I guess it might be too late, but one time straightening it wont kill your hair. Just leave your conditioner in a little longer.

the only thing i can come up with is conditioner just don't apply so much cuz your hair will be sticky. Have fun in your date!! :)
