When you use a hair straightener with curly hair, is it better to use it when your hair is wet or dry? When do you get better results? Does anyone know?

ive tried absolutely all shampoos conditioners sprays mouses everything and nothing works my hair is very fine so when iv been out for 2 minutes in the wind i look like iv been dragged through a bush!!!

I have straight, thick, soft blonde hair that is four inches below the shoulder. The curling iron makes it go limp, no matter how hot. I use hot rollers, but that just gives my hair big, poofy curls. I'd like to scrunch, but I'm not sure what it does, and my mom says it only works for wavy or curly hair. Help?

breakout in spots which usually stay there up till 7 days and my skin gets very sore, can anyone recommend another way of removing my hair and also has anybody used nads facial wand to remove their hair, and if so does it have the same reaction, I have used different waxes but with no luck!

I think I ruined my hair!!! I tried to cut bangs on my hair and ended with thick short bangs that look horrible...I look like johny depp in blow!!! how long does it take for bangs to grow into a decent lenght..I must say my hair does grow fast.. help!!!!

Hi Friends,
I have excessive oil secretion on scalp which is always visible. I wash it daily & sometimes twice, I can see oil on my fingers if I touch scalp. More ever I have extreme dandruff; my hair is falling at tremendous rate and I see my falling hair strands have always dandruff, like solid particle at root with them.
Usually I have itching and sometime unbearable, I feel like white sand particles on my scalp which usually have tiny hair with them.
I used almost all the anti dandruff shampoos and Minoxidle solutions too, but all in vain. I have lost almost 30% of my hair in last 1 year, and if this rate continues I am sure in next 6 month it will be ALL Clear. Personally it seems an abnormal rate of hair fall. Many of friends having hair lose problem, but they have a constant rate and without the above mentioned symptoms. Consulted few dermatologists but got nothing other than an Anti dandruff shampoo and ReGAIN solution. I will really appriciate if someone can help

Help! I have very thick, heavy, coarse graying hair. It has some natural wave, but is not curly. It is midlength now, but I'm wanting to grow it out. It takes more than an hour to straighten it with a flatiron because of the thickness (and longer the longer my hair gets). I don't have time to give it that kind of attention every morning. I keep my hair colored professionally. I use salon hair care products (Matrix Sleek.look) that is the only thing that keeps my hair from being flyaway.

Will straightening be a good option for me? Will I be able to use the curling iron or hot rollers if I want a little different look with some wave? How often will I have to have it re-done?

Im a big fan of long hair. Last time I grew it, every single hair curled into a different direction, no texture what so ever. Using a hair drier works for no more than five minutes, so I decided to get it straightened at a beutician. it looked really great for about 2 weeks until it started thinning and some of it even curling back, so I shaved it off bald. I don't look good with short hair really, and I don't like straightening my hair. I do use conditioner (and soetimes herbal oils when I'm really desperate). What is the best way to grow healthy wavy/curly hair, and whats the best way to keep it tidy?

I started Zoloft last Friday.. so I have only been taking it for 5 days. I have heard that it can cause hair loss. I feel like the last couple of days I have been losing a lot more than usual. Is it possible that I could already be seeing this side effect? Is hair loss even a side effect of Zoloft? Please help! It's starting to make me worried. The thought of losing my hair stresses me out even more!

I have used several different hair color products....but for the last year or two, it just doesn't matter, within a day or two, my grey hair return in full force around my hairline.... anyone use anything that really covers grey and the grey stays covered?

so i want to cut my hair short but afraid it wont come out the way i like.... if anyone in here is a hair expert i would love your advice. i have dry unmangeable, frizzy and puffy hair. i usally get it relaxed but haven't had it done since august which is a long time to go so at this moment my hair is pretty sad it doesn't want to do anything i want it to....that why i am considering cutting short. so my question is is it ok for people who frizzy, dry unmangeable, puffy hair cut their hair short or should i just get it relaxed again.

i had juz cut my hair not long ago and my hair style sucks...i've ever seen on tv a comercial of a certain 'branded' shampoo that help hair grow faster in abt 3 months..but sad 2 say...i've forgot the brand...so yeah...any ppl out there knows shampoo of which brand will help the growth of my hair..i heard of using horse shampoo or smt lidat but bcoz i it wil make hair stiff,some might say that using hair spray or gel might help but engage in sports and my senior encourage us 2 rebong/use hairsprayor do any artificial stuff...yeah...thx for help..(:
