When you use a hair straightener with curly hair, is it better to use it when your hair is wet or dry? When do you get better results? Does anyone know?
Thanks in advance.

I forgot to mention something the hair straightene does not work with electricity. I use it with a hair dryer.

Definately dry. I know some straighteners say they will work on wet hair but it really just fries it. Just dry straight and use lots of heat defence spray :)

dry because your hair is prone to drying out and the straightener may cause damage to your hair. When using straightener's try using a spray to protect your hair from heat damage.

OMG definatly dry because your hair can get badly damaged if you use it on wet so use it on dry the results and your hairs condition will be far better but use protection spray

you have to do it dry. use a large round brush to blowdry straight then apply serum & iron straight. I'm an expert with naturally curly hair & straighten it 1-2 x's week.

If u use a hair straightener when ur hair is wet.....1. it won't do anything.......and 2. It will either burn ur hair or make it hard to work with..........p.s. it'll smell pretty bad too.
