To get straight hair, have you ever tried a straightenng iron (also called a "flat iron") or a pressing comb?? They sell these at any beauty supply store and even places like Wal-Mart. However, if you use a pressing comb, use just a small amount of pressing oil. Your hair will fry up like bacon if you don't. Just apply a tiny bit to your root area, and run the comb through your hair like you would a regular comb.

For wavy hair, they sell shampoos that have ingredients to help you with waving your hair, whether it be through a curling iron or waving it yourself with a comb--us hairdressers call it "finger waving." If you don't know how to finger wave, you can do a search on the internet and you could get instructions from there. Do what those instructions tell you, let your hair dry, and use your fingers to comb them out. If done correctly, you will have some beautiful waves AND your hair won't be flattened to your head. Hope this helps you out!
