There are plenty of shampoos that make your hair look thicker, but it won't actually thicken your hair. I don't think that's actually possible. Frederic Fekkai has a new line that looks promising that is supposed to nourish your hair follices and make hair grow better, but I doubt it works... if you want to see, it's on sephora.com. Unfortunately there is no miracle cure. Eat a balanced diet and hope for the best...

I am a hair dresser in NC. I love the product called Nioxen. It is a 30 day treatment. At first the product works to help you stop losing hair. It then begins to help you grow new hair. Yes, it can be at a slow pace, but the results are great. And, unlike Rogain and other chemically indused hair growth products you do not loose the new hair you gained after you stop using it.

You are born with all of the hair follicles you will ever have. So you cannot "thicken" your hair in this way. You're stuck with products. I had lost some hair while under stress at my temples. Rogaine worked well for me and hair grew back.
