get the split ends cut off and while your at it get a cute cut with layers and angles...then use a really good deep conditioning hair mask once a week to keep the hair healthy: coat damp hair in about 4 tbsp. of mayo and wrap in saran wrap..leave for15-20 minutes then rinse out and shampoo..hair will feel gorgeous and look amazing..then for the rest of the week use a shampoo and conditioner meant for your hair type. then the next week try a different hair mask such as coating the hair in olive oil and following the same process as before..continue altering the hair masks every week and get hair trimmed about once every 6 weeks and it will look AMAZING

Get a trim every 4 weeks. When you get out of the shower, comb your hair, don't brush it. Try a really good conditioner (CB Smoothe - Triple Silk) <--works wonders. Try not to heat style your hair much because that causes soooo much damage. If you blowdry, try rolling it instead. If you like to tie your hair up, use the ponytail holders that don't have the metal clasp on them, or scrunchies. Don't sleep with hairbows in your hair. Try not to wash your hair more than twice a week if you can until it gets in better condition. Hope this helps.

Cut the spit ends.. Use conditioner... My hair was the same way, I just conditioned the heck out of it. The best shampoo/conditioner i have found are the new ones from Bath and Body Works (a bit expensive tho), and the new SunSilk shampoo/conditioners. They are excellent!

I understand that you can't completely cut all dead ends off. I suggest using a Hot Oil Treatment from VO5 and then also get your hair trimmed and use products to keep your hair moisturized. Don't use any electrical equipment on your hair it will make it worse.

I've heard of people with dry hair using straight up olive oil as conditioner - no kidding.

you have to get you split ends cut off...
then use a very good shampoo & conditioner to keep your hair moisturized.
stay away from blow dryer, curling irons and hot rollers...
let you hair dry naturally....
use velcro rollers....
try MOP Glisten shampoo & Glisten conditioner.

Sounds like you need a trim. Maybe switch shampoos and use a heavier conditioner.
